We are seeking skilled and entry-level Glass Processors to join our production team. You will be trained or assigned based on experience across one or more of the following areas:
Key Processing Areas:
- Glass Cutting (Float Line)
- Waterjet Cutting (CNC)
- Furnace Operation
- Edgework Lines (Bevelling, Polishing)
- Custom Lamination (PVB, SGP interlayers)

About You:
- Prior experience in glass processing or similar factory work highly regarded, but not essential
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling tasks (with team lifting or mechanical aid support)
- Comfortable operating or learning to use machinery and tools safely
- Committed to working safely and following procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and a team contributor
Safety Requirements:
All factory workers must comply with FMI’s mandatory PPE policy, including:
- Steel-capped boots
- Cut-resistant gloves
- Forearm protection (gauntlets)
- Hi-visibility top
- Eye and hearing protection
- Long work pants (track pants not permitted)
Training in manual handling and task-specific safety procedures will be provided in accordance with Victorian OHS regulations.
